April 2008

April 8: The puppies have arrived!! 5 males & 3 females all are happy healthy and VERY active puppies. Nice dark color and we can't wait to see how these pups mature. Roxie and the pups are all resting comfortablly and will keep updating on the progress of these guys as they develop.



April 7: We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of puppies; it should be any time now!  Of course poor Roxie looks more like a beached whale right now then her slim former self.


March 2008

March 22: We picked up our new horse from Jamie Fountain of Dublin GA. Right now his name is Bam-Bam but I think will end up renaming him. He's a 5yo, 15.8 hand, gelding from classic Midnight Sun lines. Can't wait to get him out and start working the dogs with him!



Feb 2008

Congrats to Indy on his 4th place in the 2008 Vizsla National Puppy Stake!!
Feb 29: After a two week trip down south to run in the Setter trial at Leesburg, the National Vizsla Association - Eastern Shooting dog Derby Classic, both of which Indy did well in but lacked the maturity that the winners showed. Next we traveled over to Dublin GA to stay with Pro Jamie Fountain, got a few days of training in and can't thank them enough for their hospitality. Then it was on to the Vizsla Club of America - Gun Dog Championship and National puppy field trial. Indy had a very strong performance with three finds which he handled exceptionally well for his age and pointed each with a high head and 12 o'clock stick ultimatly earning him a 4th place in the National puppy. Looking forward to coming back again next year!

Feb 3: Roxie has been bred to Neo and we are VERY excited about this breeding and look forward to having puppies in early April 2008.
